Conference and Colloquium for Philosophy of Education "EDUCATION OF MAN" 18 - November 19, 2011
Organizers: Association "Education Rights" (St. Petersburg), Workshop on Philosophy and arts education, together with the Council on Education Union of Scientists St. Petersburg.
The aim of the conference:
- hold a discussion of the major problems of modern education to the philosophical level, value problematize important issues of philosophy of education, to subject the philosophical analysis of current and potential educational model.
The conference invited philosophers, theorists and practitioners of education specialists interested in the philosophical thinking and rethinking education.
Conference and symposium combines two forms of scientific reports and subsequent round-table discussion with the main topics.
Planned topics for discussion at the conference:
• The mission and the limits of education (education - a tool for solving problems of modern civilization, or their distribution channel?)
• Curriculum (Curriculum) as the result of philosophical and educational solutions
